All About Omega Seamaster 300 Watch

Each year, Omega presents specific models in platinum and gold, generally in a limited edition with ornaments or fancy spheres. These first-line watches are always released silently because they are absurdly expensive. But they are still the best. Diving watches with exotic spheres are not new, Rolex manufactured a Submariner with a lapis lazuli dial, but they are rare. The Noob Omega Seamaster 300 has semi-precious stone dials. It was decided to be made in a limited number. They are probably less common than expected, a few retailers or boutiques risk stocking such an expensive watch.

Dimensions

Available in 18-carat yellow gold or platinum, the boxes have the same dimensions as the pedestrian steel models. These watches are 41 mm in diameter and 14.65 mm thick. Good enough for modern tastes, but still small enough to maintain the retro feel of an excellent remake.

Weight

The weight of the watches is, however, surprising given their size. With platinum almost three times as dense as stainless steel, the platinum model feels exceptionally strong, probably weighing close to 500 grams or a pound.

Quality

In terms of physical quality, the Omega Seamaster 300 Terra watches are following the costs. The covers are brushed on the top and the sides, combined with alternating surfaces on the bracelet.

Omega Seamaster Dials

The frames have colorful ceramic inserts to match the dials. The dials are, without a doubt, the highlight. Whether lapis lazuli or malachite, the dials have printed marks and slightly hollow indexes, with the faux vintage Super-LumiNova painted in engraved hollow space.

Given the fragility of the stone discs, the thin sheet of stone should be attached to metal support for more stability. Furthermore, the engraved indexes are a surprising touch. The two models of gold and platinum have the same cal. 8913, an automatic system with all the technical innovations of Omega Custom Watches visible through the screen.

It is a coaxial main chronometer, which means it has the lubrication-free exhaust invented by the late George Daniels, as well as a silicone spring and extreme magnetism resistance of over 15,000 Gauss.

The movement has two barrels and a 60-hour reserve, as well as decorative keys reserved only for Omega watches in precious metals, namely the rotor and balance bridge in Sedna 18k gold, which also has the inhouse name of the red gold alloy.

Omega Seamaster special versions

The vintage Seamaster that is attracting attention in collecting circles as those made for the British military, the first of which delivered in 1967 to the specification guidelines issued the previous year.
